Erin Niksich & Seth Campbell:
Engaged: December 25, 2013 Wedding: May 2, 2015, East Moline, IL
Everyone can relate to Erin and Seth’s heartwarming love story. They are a beautiful couple both on the inside and out, and AE Photography LLC did an amazing job capturing not only their engagement, but their breathtaking wedding as well. Erin and Seth wanted to help and inspire other couples by sharing their story and photographs. Enjoy!
Erin and Seth met through mutual friends, but it wasn’t until they joined the same sand volleyball league that they started hanging out and really got to know one another. They clicked right away as they realized how much they had in common! Erin knew Seth was “the one” once she saw how well he and her son got along. Since the day they met, Seth treated Erin’s son, Noah, like his own. Noah instantly loved Seth as well. Erin knew Seth would be an amazing father and husband, and she loved him!
The proposal was absolutely beautiful! They were celebrating their second Christmas together in their home. Erin woke up not only to a white Christmas, but breakfast was made, a fire was lit in their wood burning stove, their stockings were full, and presents were piling out from under their tree. Noah ripped open his presents from Santa and then they opened their stockings together. To Erin’s surprise, inside her stocking was a blue box from Necker’s with an engagement ring! All she can remember is looking up and Seth was on one knee, but before he could even speak she was hugging him. Erin was in shock for a moment, but remembers him saying something like “I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you! Will you marry me?”. Of course, Erin said “YES”! They spent the rest of their Christmas surprising their families with their good news and showing off the ring as they made their rounds. The only other person that actually knew about the proposal was Erin’s dad, because Seth had asked his permission. It was an amazing day that they will never forget.
Erin and Seth were married May 2, 2015. They had their rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at the Short Hills Country Club. Their wedding party, close family, and friends enjoyed a grill-out Friday night following the rehearsal. The ceremony was held outside followed by an indoor reception. Erin wanted a subtle, classy, and elegant vibe for the reception, so she chose beige, nudes, and golds with lots of lights and candles. The bridesmaids wore Aubergine (a dark earthy purple), and the groomsmen wore dark gray tuxes, gray vests, and purple ties to match the ladies. Erin’s bouquet was a bit more colorful, but still incorporated the purples.
Erin’s favorite part of their wedding was the ceremony. It was intimate and perfect. It was about them and their experiences. Their dear friend Matt married them and shared their personal stories about them and their past. Erin and Seth shared their personal vows with one another, they goofed off and messed up a couple of times, they laughed, they cried, and they wouldn’t have it any other way because it was real and it was them!
The most memorable moment for Erin was when she said “I do”. She knew that after that moment everything was real and not just a fairy tale. She knew that now she could spend the rest of her years with the love of her life!
The entire wedding was absolutely beautiful. Erin couldn’t have asked for anything better and she couldn’t have done it without the help of so many amazing people and vendors. Short Hills Country Club had fabulous service and was a gorgeous venue. Clazzy Designs went above and beyond with décor and coordination, making Erin’s day stress free. AE Photography LLC captured every breathtaking moment for Erin and Seth to cherish for years to come. Caitlin Elizabeth Bridal & Alterations made Erin’s dress fit like a glove. Erin and Seth had an amazing wedding party that rocked! Their family and friends that joined them in their celebration of marriage made the most amazing day of their lives fun, enjoyable, and memorable. Everything went smoothly and The Campbell’s wouldn’t change a thing!
