National Czech and Slovak Museum Wedding

Article compliments of Robyn Aaron
Owner of The Modern Lovebird

Hot of the presses is this super sweet wedding for Brielle and Ryan at the National Czech and Slovak Museum! It was flawlessly photographed by associates Anna H. + Stacie M., can I just tell you how proud I am of the amazing team at Robyn Photo?! Eek!!

Brielle and Ryan were so at ease and so visibly in love it was an honor for our team to to be a part of their special day! The bride loved incorporating friends + family into the day and creating some of her own DIY pieces — like the men’s boutonnieres, their cake, and an assortment of other elements. For the larger décor items, Brielle trusted her former coworkers from her time interning with Spielman’s Event Services. (We love when Erin Martin + her team are on call for all those pretty linens + details!)

These two lovebirds chose to have their “first look” moments at their alma mater, Coe College, where they first met. LOVE IT! They then made their final stop at the National Czech and Slovak Museum for wedding party portraits/Ceremony/Reception.

Brielle clearly surrounded herself with the A-team that day! Mom’s reaction to her in the dress, followed by a “first look” where the bridesmaids uncovered their eyes to see her fully dressed were certainly favorite moments.

About Nicky Wilkinson

I’m proud to say I’m an Iowa farm girl from Swisher. I married my college sweetheart, Dale Wilkinson, and we have five girls. We live in the country with our cats and dog. Camping, canoeing, horseback riding and biking are some of our favorite activities. Our girls keep us busy with plenty of school activities and hobbies. I took over The Wedding Guide in August of 2014. I am inspired everyday by our local venues and dedicated wedding professionals. They are hard working and very talented. I get the opportunity to share that inspiration with couples to help them plan for their best day ever.
